Uganda hosts the East Africa Arts and Culture Festival

The Festival was officially opened by Rt. Hon. Dr . Ruhakana Rugunda Prime Minister of Uganda on September 10, 2017 at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds.

East Africa partner states participated in music performances, arts and craft exhibitions, comedy and drama, traditional wrestling among other activities.

CCFU presented a paper on Critical Analysis of Ethical Cultural Issues in Science and technology in East Africa: The case of cultural practices in Uganda and exhibited resource materials relating to culture and heritage.

CCFU was on the National Organising Committee and on the Symposium sub-committee of the event.
